Recomendada pues, La Librería (The Bookshop), 2017.
--------------
Recent films make trendy the American writer Ray Bradbury.
Two very different flicks, very.
The most popular was 'Fahrenheit 451' based on Bradbury's classic novel. Not too much to say about this one, which deviates from the book and ends up being a simple script of heroes and villains. Even the message is a bit confusing. Very appropriate for the kind of control that modern tyrannies already made in our society.
The film to watch is 'The Bookshop', where Bradbury really appears to move an interesting aristocratic hermit represented by Bill Nighy. A beautiful film about courage... women's courage. Actually, this film is a women power example: the director is Isabel Coixet; two awesome actresses, Emily Mortimer and Patricia Clarkson. And the film is based on a book by Penelope Fitzgerald, a writer to know. Women Team to hit far.
Well Recommended, The Bookshop, 2017.
